WHO WE ARE
We extend a warm welcome to all individuals in Springfield, a vibrant and growing community located north of Nashville. At our thriving congregation, we embrace newcomers with open arms. By the grace of God, we have experienced the transformative power of Christ that has profoundly impacted our lives. Through meaningful worship and insightful study, we find inspiration and strength to extend ourselves in service to others, following God's calling.

5th Avenue Uniting Church holds the distinction of being the oldest continuously operating church in Robertson County, with its roots tracing back to 1839. Our cherished location on the town square further enhances our connection to the community.

Our mission is to embody the compassionate heart of Christ at the very core of Springfield. We achieve this by providing worship experiences that are rooted in scripture and traditional Presbyterian and Disciples values, while also incorporating elements that offer a fresh and inclusive perspective. We actively cultivate Christ-centered leaders who, in turn, guide and nurture disciples of Jesus Christ. Additionally, we recognize the power of our physical presence in reaching out to the broader community, spreading the good news of God's boundless love for all people.

5th Avenue Uniting Church is host to meals on wheels three days a week, providing on site meals and delivered meals. Throughout the year, we host an array of community events and concerts, showcasing the recently tonally renovated 100-year-old organ, alongside other instruments. These occasions celebrate the rich cultural heritage of our congregation and invite everyone to share in the joyous experience.

We are honored to invite you to join us on this incredible journey of faith, friendship, and service. Regardless of your background, beliefs, or experiences, we warmly welcome you to 5th Avenue Uniting Church, where you can find a loving community dedicated to uplifting all individuals in the spirit of Christ's love.
A joint witness of Central Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and First Presbyterian Church (USA) will herein after be referred to as Fifth Avenue Uniting Church.
